Although Tricia LeQuesne has lived and traveled all over the world, for the last 30 years she has considered Montana her home. Throughout her life she has had a passion for life adventures. This has included a love for nature, as well psychotherapeutic and spiritual growth. Combining these pursuits has led her to working with the healing arts. Helping others to find meaning, connection, healing, and deeper relationships with self and others are at the core of her practice.
Her formal education consists of a BS in Economics from Auburn University Harbert College of Business and an MS in Mental Health Counseling from Prescott College with a focus on the intersection of Ecopsychology and Somatic Psychotherapy. She combines her extensive knowledge of neuroscience with intuition and listening to help others connect to their authentic selves. She has been formally trained in codependency recovery Post Induction/Feeling Reduction Therapy at the world renowned Meadows Trauma and Addiction Treatment Center. Today, she continues her work and education with The Meadows.
Additionally, she is a Brainspotting practitioner that utilizes Somatic Experiencing in her practice of providing trauma informed care.
Tricia believes that education is an evolving process that can take many forms. Through her travels and immersion in other cultures as well as her connection to the natural world, she has discovered a commitment to helping others that is rooted in cultivating and celebrating our connections and “healing with nature in mind” (Buzzel, 2009).
Tricia hopes to never stop exploring life's inner and outer landscapes!!
